This unit plan demonstrates Charlotte Danielson's standards in Domain 1: 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, and 1f. Over the course of a week, students are engaged in various activities and used several different materials to reach specific learning outcomes that were established as part of the objectives and learning goals focused on Ecology

This link takes you to a video about DNA transcription and translation that has a mix of multiple choice and short answer questions embedded into it. This assessment demonstrates Charlotte Danielson's 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f standards because it uses the internet and online resources to assess whether or not the lessons objectives were met in a varied, interactive way. 

This link takes you to a quiz on Kahoot that was made for high school students at Twin Valley High School to review concepts related to cell energy. To view how the game/quiz works, go to kahoot.it and enter the game pin to join. The quiz meets Danielson's standards, 1a, 1d, and 1f, because it uses the internet and Kahoot resources to assess whether or not the students met the lesson objectives in a fun, competitive game. 

This summative assessment demonstrates Charlotte Danielson's standards in Domain 1: 1a, 1c, and 1f. The test was given at the end of the unit on Cell Division and judges the students' mastery of the subject area. Visuals, multiple choice, and word banks are provided to accommodate for diverse learners, while staying consistent with instructional outcomes of the unit.
